Description
This Harmony XB4 modular black selector switch has 3 positions, operates with a spring-return-to-center mechanism. It has a metal bezel. This selector switch provides a versatile interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed into standard 22mm diameter cut-outs and connected to your control circuits with simple screw-clamp connections. It provides an effective manner to set your machine in various operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66 / IP67 / IP69 / IP69K, making it ideal for operation in harsh environments.
Features
- Engineered with a reliable "stay-put" mechanical design, this 3-position selector switch firmly locks into the left, center, or right positions upon rotation. This fixed mechanical memory ensures that multi-stage process lines, manual/auto overrides, and speed selections remain safely in their designated operating modes until an operator intentionally changes them.
- Featuring a rugged, chrome-plated metal bezel and fixing collar, this ⌀ 22 mm heavy-duty device is built to survive accidental tool impacts, severe vibrations, and aggressive chemical cleanings. With robust NEMA 4X/13 and IP66/IP69K ratings, it forms a completely dust-tight and waterproof barrier that easily withstands high-pressure, hot-water washdowns in demanding food processing or automotive manufacturing plants.
- Outfitted with two independent Normally Open (NO) Schneider electric contact blocks utilizing slow-break silver alloy contacts, this unit allows you to control two distinct circuits from a single interface point. Turning the knob left activates the first block, center leaves both open, and right closes the second block—delivering clean, arc-free electrical switching for PLC inputs or control relay interlocks.
- Utilizing Schneider’s innovative Harmony XB4 click-fit mounting system, the operator body snaps onto the rear contact blocks with a single metal locking collar screw. This modular architecture allows industrial panel builders to perform rapid field replacements, add extra stacking contact blocks, or swap out front operator heads in seconds without disconnecting any underlying field wiring.
