Description
This Harmony XB4, single contact block is pre-assembled on a body/collar fixing unit. It has 2 x NO contacts and a chromium-plated metal bezel. It is compatible with Harmony XB4 This body fixing collar is pre-mounted with a contact block. Simply adding a head to this assembly will provide you with a complete ready-to-use push button. It protects operators from unexpected contact with live circuits thanks to its IP20 protection index. 1 million cycle high endurance provides less maintenance and damage in your installation. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- The ZB4BZ103 is a complete "Contact Block" assembly from the Schneider Electric Harmony XB4 metal range. It consists of the ZB4BZ009 mounting collar and two ZBE101 Normally Open (NO) contact blocks. This unit serves as the electrical "engine" that converts the mechanical action of a push-button or selector switch into two simultaneous electrical signals.
- This assembly features 2 NO (Normally Open) contacts. In their resting state, the circuits are open (no power flows). When you press the button or turn the switch, both contacts close at the same time. This is commonly used for dual-circuit control, such as starting a motor while simultaneously turning on an "In Operation" indicator light.
- As part of the modular 22mm Harmony XB4 system, this metal mounting base is designed to snap onto any Harmony ZB4 operator head. It is ideal for: Non-illuminated push-buttons (like the ZB4BA3) , 2-position selector switches (like the ZB4BD2) , Key switches (like the ZB4BG2)
- Constructed with a high-strength chromium-plated metal mounting collar and silver alloy contacts, the ZB4BZ103 is designed for millions of operations. It is highly resistant to industrial vibration and shock. The screw clamp terminals are engineered to prevent loosening over time, ensuring a gas-tight, reliable connection even in demanding environments.
- The modular "snap-fit" design allows the block to be attached to the operator head in seconds without tools. It is UL Listed, CSA Certified, and CE marked. When properly installed with a compatible Harmony head, it maintains the NEMA 4X / IP66 integrity of your control panel, making it suitable for outdoor use or high-pressure washdown areas.
