Description
This Harmony XB5, black selector switch head with standard handle has 3 positions, operates with spring return to center mechanism. This switch head with standard handle provides an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It can easily be installed on compatible selector switch units and provide an effective manner to set your machine in various operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP69K. It has a plastic bezel, this makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.

- The Schneider ZB5AD5 is a 22mm 3-position selector switch head from the Harmony XB5 plastic range. It features a standard black handle and is designed for manual circuit selection, allowing operators to switch between different machine modes—such as "Hand-Off-Auto"—with clear tactile feedback and visible position indication.
- This model features a Spring Return to Center from both the left and right positions. This "momentary" action is ideal for applications where you want to jog a motor or pulse a signal in either direction, ensuring the switch automatically returns to the neutral "Off" or "Center" position as soon as the operator releases the handle.
- As a "head-only" component, the ZB5AD5 is designed to be paired with a ZB5AZ009 mounting collar and ZBE contact blocks. This modularity allows you to customize the electrical logic—choosing how many Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) circuits are triggered in each position—to meet your specific control panel requirements.
- Manufactured from high-strength double-insulated plastic, the ZB5AD5 is highly resistant to chemical cleaning agents, oils, and corrosion. It carries IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings, making it capable of withstanding high-pressure, high-temperature steam cleaning, which is a standard requirement in Canadian food and beverage processing.
- The switch features a standard-length handle with a non-slip texture, providing a secure grip for operators even when wearing heavy industrial gloves. The robust internal mechanism is rated for 1,000,000 mechanical cycles, ensuring long-term reliability in high-traffic control stations and machine interfaces.
