Description
Amp-Trap 2000® AJT fuses provide non-indication as well as a SmartSpot visual open fuse indicator. With advanced material technology the AJT fuse provides IEC Type 2 No Damage protection to main, feeder, and branch circuits, for all types of loads — yet, they require only half the mounting space needed for 600VAC Class RK fuses. AJT’s time-delay characteristics are ideal for handling typical motor and transformer inrush currents, while also providing superior current-limiting ability.

- Featuring a patented, highly visible solid-state SmartSpot® indicator, this fuse provides clear visual confirmation of an open circuit right from the front panel. This eliminates the need for tedious manual testing with multi-meters, dramatically slicing downtime during unexpected facility outages and allowing technicians to safely pinpoint and replace the failed unit immediately.
- Specially engineered with heavy-duty time-delay characteristics, the AJT300 safely handles temporary inductive current surges without nuisance tripping. This specialized dual-element performance prevents unnecessary, costly plant shutdowns while remaining fully responsive to sustained overloads and dangerous short circuits.
- As one of the most highly current-limiting UL class designs available, this fuse clamps down on peak let-thru current with an exceptional 200kA interrupting rating (300kA self-certified). By quenching severe electrical faults in milliseconds, it radically minimizes downstream equipment damage and lowers overall incident energy levels to keep your panelboards and personnel safe.
- Despite its robust 300A, 600VAC/500VDC electrical rating, the compact Class J footprint requires only half the mounting space of traditional Class RK fuses. This dense architectural format allows industrial engineers to specify smaller, less expensive fuse blocks and enclosure footprints without sacrificing industrial-grade safety or performance.
