Description
CHOM Homeline miniature circuit breakers are engineered and designed for fast installation and superior circuit protection. Homeline circuit breakers are designed to plug into Homeline load centers to provide circuit protection. CHOM breakers provide 10kA breaking capacity. The electrical connection is a clamp terminal that will accept 2 wires. The clamp terminal will accept a wire range of 8 AWG to 2 AWG copper or aluminum wire. It includes a ground fault interrupt already installed. CHOM Homeline miniature circuit breakers are CSA certified.

- Delivering a robust 50-Amp, 120/240V AC capacity across a two-pole configuration, this breaker is purpose-built for heavy-duty residential appliances. It provides dependable, continuous power routing to high-draw systems like spas, pool heaters, and Level 2 EV charging stations, preventing premature wear and nuisance trips under heavy continuous loads.
- Featuring built-in Class A ground fault protection, this breaker continuously monitors current balance and trips instantly if a leakage to ground as low as 6mA is detected. This critical life-safety feature eliminates the need for expensive, localized GFCI receptacles outdoors, providing comprehensive shock protection and ensuring full compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) for wet areas.
- Built with a 10,000 Amperes Interrupting Rating (AIR), this circuit breaker is designed to safely quench massive high-energy short circuits without exploding or damaging the panel interior. This high-capacity thermal-magnetic trip mechanism acts as a reliable shield for your branch circuit wiring, drastically reducing the risk of electrical fires caused by downstream cable failures.
- This breaker utilizes Schneider's innovative plug-on neutral design, which connects directly to the panel s neutral bar without a pigtail wire.
