The Schneider Square D QO115GFI is a 15-Amp, single-pole Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) designed to protect people, not just equipment. It continuously monitors the current balance between the hot and neutral wires; if it detects a leakage current as low as 6mA, it trips instantly to prevent lethal electrical shocks in wet or damp locations.
This breaker is part of the premium QO (Quick-Open) line and is only compatible with Square D QO load centers. It features the iconic Visi-TripTM red indicator, which provides a clear visual signal that the breaker has tripped, significantly reducing troubleshooting time for homeowners and electricians.
