Description

2510K manual motor switches are Intended for industrial, commercial and residential applications. These switches are for applications where overload protection is not required or is provided separately. Manual motor switches provide manual On Off control of small motors. They are designed for single or three phase AC motors. This nonreversing manual switch is toggle operated. The maximum operational voltage is 600 VAC and 250 VDC. This three pole switch is rated for 2 HP at 115VAC, 7.5 HP at 230VAC, 10 HP at 460VAC, 10 HP at 600VAC single phase, 1 HP at 90 VDC, 2 HP at 115 VDC and 1.5 HP at 230 VDC and 30A continuous. The screw clamp terminals will accept 14 to 10 AWG copper wire. This switch has no pilot light indicator. A cast aluminum NEMA 7 and 9 hazardous location, Class 1, Groups B, C & D and Class II, Groups E, F, & G enclosure is used to protect this starter. This enclosure has one conduit entry on the bottom and one on the top. The 0.75 inch conduit entries are tapped with number 14 pipe threads. Enclosure is 6.36 inches tall, 3.95 inches wide and 4.35 inches deep. This device is UL Listed and CSA certified.

This robust 3-pole, Type K manual switch supports up to 10 HP at 460V or 575V AC, alongside a 30A continuous thermal current capacity. It serves as a rugged, non-reversing on/off control for large industrial pumps, fans, and conveyors, giving plant engineers a highly reliable, cost-effective direct control solution where automated magnetic starters are unnecessary.
Engineered with an expansive voltage threshold, this industrial switch operates safely up to 600V AC and 230V DC. This extensive electrical tolerance allows maintenance teams to standardize on a single, flexible control component that can manage standard 460V 3-phase machinery or backup DC motor systems across the entire facility footprint.
The cast aluminum enclosure features two pre-tapped 3/4-inch NPT conduit openings positioned on both the top and the bottom for efficient feed-through wiring. This dual-knockout layout eliminates the need for field drilling, drastically lowering installation labor costs while ensuring a tightly sealed, explosion-proof threaded connection back to rigid conduit runs.
Equipped with industrial-grade screw clamp terminals, this switch ensures a high-vibration resistant connection for copper conductors ranging from 14 AWG to 10 AWG. The heavy-duty clamps maintain strong mechanical pressure on the wiring over time, eliminating localized heating, intermittent connections, and premature device failure under demanding machine operating conditions.
