Description
This Multi9 C60BP is a low voltage miniature circuit breaker (MCB). It is a 1P circuit breaker with 1 protected pole, 1A rated current and C tripping curve. The rated short circuit breaking capacity goes up to 3kA at 415VAC conforming to EN/IEC 60947-2 standard and 3kA at 415VAC conforming to EN/IEC 60947-2 standard. This product complies with both industrial standard EN/IEC 60898-1 and residential standard EN/IEC 60947-2. It has been designed to offer enhanced protection by preventing, protecting people and equipment from electrical threats. This product protects from short circuit, earth leakage and overload. This product is dedicated for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and control panel builders. It has an electrical endurance going up to 10000 cycles and a mechanical endurance going up to 20000 cycles. The Ue operational voltage is 240VAC. The Ui rated insulation voltage is 500VAC. The Uimp rated impulse withstand voltage is 6kV. The product can be clipped on a DIN rail. Its width is 2 pitches of 9mm. Pollution degree is 3. The product colour is light grey (RAL7035). - The M9F42101 is a 1-Amp, single-pole, DIN-rail mounted miniature circuit breaker (MCB) from Schneider Electric's Multi9 C60BP series. - Because of its very low 1-Amp rating, this breaker is not for general lighting or power outlets. - The C Curve designation means the breaker will trip instantaneously when it senses a current between 7 and 10 times its rated load (AC). This makes it ideal for circuits with moderate "inrush" currents, such as small solenoids or control relays, where a "B" curve might trip too easily but a "D" curve would be too slow.
- The C60BP line is "Multi-Standard," meaning it carries several global certifications in a single unit. It is CSA C22.2 No. 5 and UL 489 listed, making it fully legal for use as a "Branch Circuit Protector" in Canada and the USA.
