Features
- The Schneider M9F42115 is a high-performance Multi9 C60BP miniature circuit breaker designed for both branch circuit protection and supplemental protection. Unlike standard residential breakers, the Multi9 line is engineered to meet multiple international standards (UL 489, CSA, IEC), making it the "gold standard" for Canadian OEMs and panel builders who export machinery globally.
- This is a 3-Amp, single-pole breaker rated for up to 277V AC (or 480Y/277V systems). Its 3A rating is the most common size for protecting individual control circuits, lighting branches, and localized power outlets in industrial automation cabinets and specialized laboratory equipment.
- Featuring a C-Curve magnetic trip profile, this breaker is designed to trip at 7 to 10 times the rated current. This provides the necessary "headroom" to handle the moderate inrush currents found in fluorescent lighting, small motors, and control transformers, preventing nuisance tripping while still reacting instantly to dangerous short circuits.
- The M9F42115 boasts a high interrupting rating of 10,000 AIR (Amps Interrupting Rating) at 277V AC. This ensures the breaker can safely clear significant faults without internal damage, protecting your downstream equipment and ensuring the overall reliability of your electrical distribution system.
- Designed with a slim 18mm width, this breaker maximizes density in crowded control panels.
