Description
This yellow, complete ready to use, pendant station for control circuits is designed for control of single-speed hoist motors. Its pistol grip design makes it very intuitive and comfortable for the operator to use. It comprises a polypropylène enclosure with 2 standard push buttons mechanically interlocked. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP65. This robust pendant control station complies with the safety requirements of IEC standards.
Features
- The XACA205 is a complete, ready-to-use pendant control station from the Harmony XAC range. It features an intuitive pistol-grip profile engineered specifically for the control of single-speed hoist motors, overhead cranes, and mechanical handling equipment. Operating on standard control circuits, this pendant replaces complex custom assemblies with a pre-configured solution for industrial lifting applications.
- The control interface features two standard pushbuttons that control opposite directions of travel. The first button is pre-mapped for the "Raise" command, while the second button manages the "Lower" command. To prevent electrical phase shorts or conflicting motor signals, the buttons are equipped with an internal mechanical interlock that physically blocks both commands from being depressed simultaneously.
- Each direction is backed by a combination of one Normally Open and one Normally Closed (1 NO + 1 NC) slow-break contact blocks (utilizing ZB2BE101 and ZB2BE102 points). Carrying a heavy-duty A600 and Q600 rating, the control station supports up to 10 Amps of conventional enclosed thermal current. It manages operational control limits of 3 Amps at 240V AC or 1.2 Amps at 600V AC (A600) and 0.27 Amps at 250V AC or 0.1 Amps at 600V AC (Q600), and incorporates a 10 Amp gG cartridge fuse circuit protection framework.
- The double-insulated pendant body is molded from a high-visibility yellow polypropylene composite material that is easily spotted on busy factory floors. Built for demanding overhead industrial work environments, the structure features high physical resilience with a verified IK08 impact rating and a shock resistance threshold up to 100 gn. This allows the assembly to survive repetitive drops and collisions against concrete structural pillars or heavy machinery frames without shattering the internal mechanics.
- The pendant achieves a strict IP65 environmental rating, making it completely dust-tight and resistant to low-pressure water streams. The top of the pistol-grip handle features a flexible rubber sleeve with a stepped entry port designed to seal around multi-conductor crane cables measuring 7 mm to 15 mm in outer diameter. This protective layer ensures that internal contact surfaces stay dry and free from airborne contaminants in industrial washdown bays or unheated outdoor loading docks.
