Description
Harmony 22 mm modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights are designed for industry. This range combines simplicity of setup, flexibility and a robust construction. An ingenious locking system consisting of a snap fit head and body that can be tightened with a single screw but still ensuring an easy and yet secure mounting. Harmony XB4/ZB4 are 22 mm chromium plated metal modular push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights connecting to fully metal mounting collar. The operators can be purchased as complete operators or various modules that can be assembled to meet the user’s specific requirement. Harmony XB5/ZB5 are 22 mm plastic modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights. The operator can have a round and square plastic bezel. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. The contacts can be used for low load electrical contact and high power applications. Shake proof connection screws make periodic retightening unnecessary. A complete set of accessories to provide a solution for applications where exposure to high pressure cleaning, dust and extreme temperatures is an everyday occurrence. These harmony 22mm push buttons are used by machine manufacturers (automotive, textiles, timber) and control system panel builders. Certified and approved for meeting requirements throughout all continents: EN/IEC, UL, NEMA, CSA, CCC, Gost, JIS and many more. They have UL and CE markings and have ratings up to IP66 and IP69K.
Features
- The ZB4BT84 is a 40mm red mushroom head operator designed for critical Emergency Stop (E-Stop) applications. It features a specialized "trigger action" mechanism, meaning the electrical contacts will not change state until the head is fully latched. This prevents "teasing" the button and ensures that once the safety command is initiated, the machine remains in a safe, de-energized state.
- This E-Stop utilizes a Push-Pull reset method. To clear the emergency signal, the operator must physically pull the red mushroom head back to its original position. This manual requirement ensures that a deliberate action is taken to acknowledge the fault before the control system can be reset, adhering to strict industrial safety protocols.
- As part of the Harmony XB4 metal range, this head features a chromium-plated metal bezel and a high-impact plastic mushroom cap. It is designed to survive the physical abuse typical of factory floors, assembly lines, and outdoor equipment, providing superior mechanical longevity compared to standard plastic alternatives.
- The ZB4BT84 is engineered for extreme environments, carrying IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings. This makes it ideal for food and beverage or pharmaceutical facilities that require high-pressure, high-temperature steam cleaning, as well as outdoor applications exposed to driving rain and dust.
- The 40mm diameter mushroom head is finished in a vibrant, non-fading red, providing a large target area for operators in high-stress situations. When mounted against a standard yellow E-Stop nameplate, it creates a high-contrast visual signal that is compliant with international safety visibility standards.
