Description
Harmony 22 mm modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights are designed for industry. This range combines simplicity of setup, flexibility and a robust construction. An ingenious locking system consisting of a snap fit head and body that can be tightened with a single screw but still ensuring an easy and yet secure mounting. Harmony XB4/ZB4 are 22 mm chromium plated metal modular push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights connecting to fully metal mounting collar. The operators can be purchased as complete operators or various modules that can be assembled to meet the user’s specific requirement. Harmony XB5/ZB5 are 22 mm plastic modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights. The operator can have a round and square plastic bezel. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. The contacts can be used for low load electrical contact and high power applications. Shake proof connection screws make periodic retightening unnecessary. A complete set of accessories to provide a solution for applications where exposure to high pressure cleaning, dust and extreme temperatures is an everyday occurrence. These harmony 22mm push buttons are used by machine manufacturers (automotive, textiles, timber) and control system panel builders. Certified and approved for meeting requirements throughout all continents: EN/IEC, UL, NEMA, CSA, CCC, Gost, JIS and many more. They have UL and CE markings and have ratings up to IP66 and IP69K.
Features
- The ZB4BS844 is a high-performance, 40mm "Mushroom Head" Emergency Stop (E-Stop) operator from the Schneider Electric Harmony XB4 metal range. It features a Trigger Action design with a Turn-to-Release mechanism, ensuring that the machine stays stopped until the operator manually resets the button by twisting it.
- This unit is engineered with "Trigger Action" (also known as "tease-proof") functionality. This means the internal electrical contacts will not change state until the button is fully latched in the depressed position. This prevents a machine from stopping and then immediately restarting if the button is only partially pushed, meeting strict ISO 13850 safety standards.
- Built with a robust chromium-plated metal bezel, the ZB4BS844 is designed for the most demanding environments. It is rated IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K, making it completely dust-tight and resistant to high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns ideal for food processing, automotive, and heavy industrial applications.
- The mushroom head is a vibrant, non-fading red, providing immediate visibility for operators. While this part number is the operator head only, it is designed to be paired with a yellow "Emergency Stop" legend plate and the ZB4BZ009 mounting collar to ensure it is clearly identifiable and compliant with global safety color-coding regulations.
- As part of the modular XB4 system, this head requires a mounting collar (ZB4BZ009) and contact blocks (typically ZBE102 for Normally Closed/NC logic) to become a functional switch. Its "snap-fit" mounting system allows for quick assembly and easy replacement of the head without disturbing the underlying wiring.
