Description
This Harmony XB4 emergency stop / shutdown 40mm mushroom head modular red push button operates with a latched push-pull mechanism. It has a metal bezel. This emergency stop / shutdown button, also called EMS (Emergency Machine Stop) and EMO (Emergency Off), is easily installed into standard 22mm diameter cut-outs and connected with simple screw-clamp connections. It is clearly distinguishable visually at a distance thanks to a clear color and a prominent 40mm mushroom shape. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66 / IP67 / IP69 / IP69K, making it ideal for operation in harsh environments.

- Custom-engineered to serve as a reliable Emergency Machine Stop (EMS) or Emergency Off (EMO), this device provides a vital safety interface for plant floor machinery. When pressed, the unit utilizes an instantaneous, positive trigger-action and mechanical latching mechanism that locks the push-button into a depressed position, immediately cutting command power to prevent accidental machinery restarts until the safety hazard is completely cleared.
- Featuring a prominent, high-visibility 40mm red mushroom head that is completely unmarked for universal industrial compliance, the device is easy for operators to hit in high-stress situations. Once the machinery has been safely serviced, resetting the device requires an intentional, physical pull-to-release pull action, popping the actuator smoothly back out to its standard position.
- Belonging to the premium Harmony XB4 product family, this complete assembly features a rugged, heavy-duty chromium-plated metal bezel. It is optimized for installation into any standard 22.5 mm cutout, including the non-illuminated red operator, metal fixing collar, and the pre-installed contact block stack, eliminating the need to spec out individual sub-components or adapter rings.
- The switch is equipped with a versatile 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed) contact arrangement featuring slow-break silver alloy contacts. Carrying an operational current rating of up to 6 A at 120 V AC (or 3 A at 240 V AC) conforming to standard A600/AC-15 utilization categories, the NC contact directly drops out safety contactors or master control relays while the NO contact concurrently flags a PLC input or indicator beacon.
- Engineered for demanding industrial environments, this metal-bezel device provides exceptional mechanical resistance to shocks, vibration, and heavy wear. It carries robust IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K environmental protection alongside NEMA 4X, and 13 ratings,
