Description
This Harmony XB7, emergency stop / shutdown 40mm mushroom head monolithic red push button operates with a latched turn to release mechanism and uses screw-clamp terminals. This emergency stop / shutdown button, also called EMS (Emergency Machine Stop) and EMO (Emergency Off) is easily installed into a standard 22mm diameter cut-outs and connected with simple screw-clamp connections. It is clearly distinguishable visually at a distance thanks to a clear color and a prominent 40mm mushroom shape. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP65, making it ideal for operation in harsh environments. It has a double insulated plastic bezel. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.

- Featuring a positive mechanical latching mechanism, the prominent 40mm red mushroom head instantly locks upon actuation to halt dangerous equipment operations safely. The intuitive "turn-to-release" reset function prevents accidental machine restarts, ensuring your automated manufacturing lines fully comply with strict ISO 13850 and IEC 60947-5-5 machine safety protocols.
- Outfitted with two Normally Closed (2 NC) slow-break contacts, this E-stop button is designed to seamlessly integrate into dual-channel safety monitoring systems. This vital electrical redundancy guarantees that even if one circuit path fails, the backup contact will reliably break the control loop, protecting factory operators from hazards and satisfying high-risk machine safety categories.
