Description
TeSys Deca instantaneous auxiliary contact block, for contactors LC1D, LC1F and control relays CAD. It provides 1NO contacts rated up to 10A/690V AC, connection by screw clamp terminals. Clip-on front mounting, it procures high reliability and durability. It provides 1NO instantaneous contact rated up to 10A 690V AC. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC). Available worldwide, it is multi-standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine). Add-on block with 1NO auxiliary contact, with instantaneous operation. High electrical durability , several millions of operating cycles in AC-14/AC-15/DC-13 according conditions. Mounting by clip-on on front of all TeSys Deca and TeSys F contactors.
Features
- Engineered for seamless mechanical integration, this add-on component features a tool-free, front clip-on mounting mechanism that snaps directly onto the face of any standard TeSys Deca or TeSys D contactor (including models LC1D80 to LC1D115) as well as TeSys F (LC1F) control relays. This drop-in compatibility means you can expand your current industrial control panel footprint vertically without consuming precious extra DIN rail space.
- This auxiliary contact block provides 1 Normally Open (1 NO) instantaneous contact composition that functions in perfect synchronization with the main poles of the parent contactor. It acts as an efficient feedback loop or status indicator for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and pilot lights, instantly signaling when the main power circuit is engaged to ensure precise system diagnostics.
- Built to manage heavy duty industrial control workloads, this contact block boasts a conventional free air thermal current (Ith) of 10 A and a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of up to 690 V conforming to the IEC 60947-5-1 standard (600 V certified for UL and CSA applications). This high voltage threshold protects your low-voltage control circuits against transient voltage spikes and catastrophic insulation breakdown during high-amperage switching sequences.
- Outfitted with robust multi-standard screw clamp terminals, this block accommodates a highly versatile range of wiring choices including single or double flexible and rigid conductors from 1 mm2 up to 4 mm2 (with or without cable ends). The specialized terminal design accepts flathead, Phillips No. 2, or Pozidriv No. 2 screwdrivers at a high tightening torque of 1.7 N.m, eliminating loose wire connections caused by intense industrial machine vibrations.
- Designed to minimize production downtime and system maintenance overhead, the device delivers a massive mechanical durability rating of 30 million operating cycles (30 Mcycles). This superior service life guarantees consistent, high-reliability performance in high-frequency switching environments like HVAC ventilation fans, conveyor systems, and industrial pump panels.
- Fully compliant with stringent global regulatory frameworks, this module carries official UL, CSA, CE, UKCA, and CCC markings, alongside specialized fire and dustproof safety compliance under IEC 60335-1 and anti-flammable refrigerant testing. Enclosed in an IP20 finger-safe housing and treated for extreme thermal environments, it operates efficiently across an ambient air temperature range of -5 C to 60 C up to altitudes of 3,000 meters without requiring performance derating.
