Description

TeSys GV auxiliary contact block, for motor circuit breakers GV2 and GV3. 1NO+1NC instantaneous auxiliary contacts. Rated for operation up to 6A/690V AC and 6A/240V DC. To be installed on left-hand side of the circuit breaker (2 blocks mounting possible), connection by screw clamp terminals. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC).

Features

  • The GVAN11 is a lateral (side-mounted) auxiliary contact block designed for use with the TeSys GV2 and GV3 manual motor starters. It provides additional electrical contacts that mirror the state of the motor starter, allowing you to send signals to PLCs, pilot lights, or other control circuits in your panel.
  • This block features one Normally Open (NO) and one Normally Closed (NC) contact. The NO contact is typically used for "Run" indication (e.g., turning on a green pilot light or signaling a PLC that the motor is active). The NC contact is often used for "Off" or "Fault" signaling, or for electrical interlocking with other devices.
  • The GVAN11 snaps onto the left-hand side of a GV2 or GV3 motor protector. Its tool-free, "clip-on" design makes it incredibly easy to add to existing installations. Because it mounts on the side, it doesn't increase the depth of the starter, which is helpful in shallow Canadian control enclosures.
  • Designed for industrial control, the contacts are rated for high reliability. They are suitable for standard 120V AC control circuits but are also "low-energy" compatible, making them excellent for interfacing with 24V DC PLC inputs common in modern Canadian automation systems.
  • The GVAN11 is rated for an operational voltage up to 600V AC and a conventional thermal current (Ith) of 6 Amps. This provides more than enough capacity for switching contactor coils, relays, or signaling devices.
