Description

TeSys GV auxiliary contact block, for motor circuit breakers GV2 and GV3. 1NO+1NC instantaneous auxiliary contacts. Rated for operation up to 2A/240V AC and 1A/60V DC. To be installed on front side of the circuit breaker, connection by screw clamp terminals. Sold in lots of 10 units. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Features

  • The GVAE11 is a front-mounting auxiliary contact block designed specifically for Schneider Electric TeSys GV2 and GV3 manual motor starters (motor circuit breakers). It is used to provide remote status signaling to a control system or to interlock with other electrical components.
  • This module provides 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed) instantaneous contacts. NO Contact: Typically used to signal a PLC or a pilot light that the motor starter is "Closed" (engaged). NC Contact: Often used for fault signaling or to prevent other equipment from starting when the motor circuit is active.
  • The GVAE11 features a compact, snap-on design that mounts directly onto the front face of the motor starter. This is a major space-saver because it does not increase the width of the starter on the DIN rail. It sits behind the small transparent cover on the front of the GV2/GV3 unit.
  • These contacts are designed for high reliability across a wide range of voltages. While they are rated for industrial use up to 240V AC or 60V DC, their design ensures a clean signal even for low-energy inputs common in modern automation and PLC logic.
  • The GVAE11 is built for long-term industrial durability, rated for 100,000 mechanical and electrical cycles. It is UL Listed, CSA Certified, and features "finger-safe" screw clamp terminals. It is an essential component for meeting safety standards that require feedback on the actual state of a motor's power circuit.
