Description

TeSys Deca instantaneous auxiliary contact block, for contactors LC1D, LC1F and control relays CAD. It provides 4NO contacts rated up to 10A/690V AC, connection by screw clamp terminals. Clip-on front mounting, it procures high reliability and durability. TeSys Deca contactors have been designed for perfect integration into control systems. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC). TeSys Deca contactors offer quick simple setup, while maintaining a compact size. Contactors have both horsepower and Kw motor rating for international acceptance. An extennsive line of accessories makes it easy to meet the requirements of most applications. These contactors have UL, CSA, GOST, RINA, BV, CCC, DNV, GL, LROS certifications.

Features

  • The Schneider LADN40 is a snap-on auxiliary contact module designed to expand the control capabilities of TeSys Deca (formerly TeSys D) contactors and control relays. It provides additional electrical "feedback" or signaling points without increasing the physical footprint of the contactor on the DIN rail.
  • he "40" indicates the contact arrangement: 4 NO (Normally Open) contacts. When the main contactor is energized (pulled in), all four of these auxiliary contacts will close simultaneously. This is ideal for applications requiring multiple simultaneous signals, such as: Sending a "Run" status to a PLC. Lighting up a "System Active" pilot light. Interlocking other control relays in a complex sequence. Triggering an external cooling fan or timer.
  • The LADN40 is a front-mount block. It snaps directly onto the face of a TeSys D contactor (from 9A up to 150A models). It uses a simple, tool-free clip-on mechanism that engages with the contactor's moving armature, ensuring the auxiliary contacts operate in perfect synchronization with the main power poles.
  • These contacts are designed for high reliability even in low-voltage control circuits. They feature a minimum switching capacity of 5mA at 17V, making them perfect for interfacing with modern PLC inputs or sensitive electronic controllers where "dry contact" reliability is essential.
  • The unit is equipped with IP20 finger-safe screw clamp terminals. These terminals use the same rugged design as the contactors themselves, ensuring that control wires stay tight and protected against vibration, which is a common cause of intermittent faults in industrial control panels.
