Features
- The LC1D32G7 is a 3-pole (3NO), 32-Amp non-reversing contactor from Schneider Electric’s TeSys Deca range. It is a high-performance industrial switch used to remotely control electrical loads, most commonly three-phase motors. It acts as the "muscle" of a motor starter, allowing a low-power control signal to switch a high-power industrial circuit.
- The "G7" code is critical for installation. It specifies that this contactor is equipped with a 120V AC (50/60 Hz) control coil. This is the most common control voltage for industrial panels in North America. Warning: Applying 240V or 480V to this coil will result in immediate failure of the device.
- The LC1D32 is designed for heavy-duty applications. Its ratings include: 10 HP at 200/230V AC , 20 HP at 460V AC , 25 HP at 575/600V AC It has a Full Load Amp (FLA) rating of 32A for inductive motor loads (AC-3) and up to 50A for resistive loads (AC-1) like heaters.
- Every LC1D contactor comes standard with two built-in auxiliary contacts: 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed). These are used for control logic, such as "latching" the starter in the ON position or providing a status signal to a PLC or a "Run" pilot light.
- The LC1D32G7 features Schneider’s EverLink power terminals (on newer Deca versions), which maintain a constant pressure on the wire to prevent loosening due to vibration or heat cycling. It mounts easily on a standard 35mm DIN rail or can be screwed directly to a backplate. It is designed for millions of electrical cycles, making it a staple in pump panels, HVAC chillers, and conveyor systems.
