Description

TeSys GV motor circuit breaker, 3 poles (3P), 32A/690V, for 3-phase motor applications 15kW@400V. It provides a thermal-magnetic protection with a thermal setting range 24-32A, magnetic tripping at 13xIn, high breaking capacity Icu 10kA@400V. Connection by screw clamp terminals. Start-stop control by push-button guaranteed for 100 000 cycles AC-3. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Features

  • Equipped with an adjustable thermal bimetallic trip setting spanning from 24A to 32A, this manual motor starter allows field technicians to calibrate protection to match the specific full-load current (FLA) of large industrial motors. It features a precise magnetic trip set at a high 416A peak threshold to instantly isolate severe, high-energy short circuits, delivering robust protection for 3-phase motors rated up to 15 kW at 400/415V or 22 kW at 500V.
  • Built with an integrated phase-failure differential mechanism, this circuit breaker continuously monitors current balance across all three incoming lines. If a single phase drops out or suffers a severe voltage imbalance due to upstream supply faults, the starter trips rapidly to isolate the motor, preventing catastrophic single-phasing conditions and localized winding burnouts.
  • Featuring a high-visibility, finger-safe manual pushbutton interface, this motor protector combines local ON/OFF mechanical control with circuit isolation in a single unit. The clear, positive-break pushbuttons can be locked out in the "OFF" position using standard padlocks, satisfying strict Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols during downstream machinery maintenance.
  • Boasting a highly compact, standardized 45mm frame width, this TeSys GV2 device mounts directly onto standard 35mm DIN rails or clips into centralized multi-motor busbar links. It complies fully with international IEC 60947-2, IEC 60947-4-1,
