Description

TeSys D contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 12A/690V AC-3/3e (5.5kW@400V). It provides a 24V 50/60Hz AC coil, 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Features

  • The Schneider LC1D12B7 is a 3-pole TeSys Deca contactor rated for 12 Amps (AC-3) and up to 25 Amps (AC-1). It is specifically designed to control motors up to 5.5 kW (7.5 hp) at 400/415V, providing a more robust power handling capacity than the LC1D09 for heavy-duty Canadian industrial fans, pumps, and material handling systems.
  • The "B7" designation indicates a 24V AC (50/60 Hz) control coil. This low-voltage AC standard is preferred in modern automation for its safety and direct compatibility with control transformers and AC-output PLC modules, eliminating the need for extra interposing relays in your control cabinet.
  • This unit comes factory-equipped with 1 NO (Normally Open) and 1 NC (Normally Closed) built-in auxiliary contacts. These integrated contacts allow you to send real-time "Run" or "Fault" signals back to your PLC or pilot lights without the added cost or physical footprint of auxiliary add-on blocks.
  • Featuring Schneider’s patented EverLink power terminal technology (on larger models) or heavy-duty screw clamp terminals, the LC1D12B7 ensures a consistent tightening torque. This prevents wire loosening due to heat cycling or mechanical vibration, reducing the risk of electrical hot spots and downtime in 24/7 manufacturing plants.
  • The TeSys Deca range is engineered for modularity. The LC1D12B7 snaps directly onto a 35mm DIN rail and is fully compatible with LRD thermal overload relays, allowing you to build a space-saving, comprehensive motor starter that fits into increasingly crowded industrial enclosures.
