Features
- The LC1D09BD is a high-performance, 3-pole TeSys Deca contactor designed for controlling AC motors up to 9 Amps (approximately 5 HP at 480V). It acts as a heavy-duty electrical switch, allowing a low-power control signal to safely start and stop high-power industrial machinery.
- The "BD" designation indicates a 24V DC Low Consumption coil. Unlike standard AC coils, this version is specifically designed to be driven directly by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) output without the need for an interposing relay. It features built-in bidirectional peak limiting diode suppression to protect your sensitive electronics from voltage spikes.
- This contactor comes factory-equipped with 1 NO (Normally Open) and 1 NC (Normally Closed) built-in auxiliary contacts. These allow for essential control logic, such as "seal-in" circuits for pushbuttons or providing a feedback signal to a control system to confirm the contactor has successfully closed.
- Engineered for extreme durability, the LC1D09BD is rated for millions of mechanical cycles. Its "Quick-Break" action minimizes internal arcing, significantly extending the life of the power contacts even in demanding AC-3 motor starting applications where frequent "start/stop" commands are the norm.
