Description
The perfect option for safely powering portable equipment, outdoors or in, when a GFCI-protected outlet is not accessible. Features a Tri-Cord Connector for plugging in multiple devices/pieces of equipment at one time. Use this 2-Foot In-Line Portable GFCI (Manual Reset) with drills, saws, leaf blowers, pressure washers, power painters, etc.Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) help prevent electrical shock caused by ground faults. GFCI protection is required by code in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, outdoor areas, and for any other outlets found within six feet of a sink or water source.
Features
- Protects against electrical shock caused by ground-fault occurrences.
- Conducts an industry-leading automatic self-test every 3 seconds. If the portable GFCI device ever fails, the red indicator light flashes to signal it should be replaced.
- Equipped with proven SafeLock protection feature: if critical components are damaged and protection is lost, power to the outlet is disconnected.
- Open neutral relay automatically cuts power to device line conductor if the neutral wire preceding the portable GFCI becomes damaged.
- Requires portable GFCI to be manually set for use by pressing reset button upon plug in and after loss of primary power.
