Description
Stay safer on any job, any project with this code-compliant 2-Foot In-Line Portable GFCI (Manual Reset). Designed for use with portable equipment (drills, saws, power painters, etc.), providing protection against electrical shock caused by ground faults.Designed with Legrand's Turnlok connector to lock plugs in place, preventing accidental disconnection for safer, more reliable operation.GFCI protection is required by code in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, outdoor areas, and for any other outlets found within six feet of a sink or water source.
Features
- Protects against electrical shock caused by ground-fault occurrences.
- Conducts an industry-leading automatic self-test every 3 seconds. If the portable GFCI device ever fails, the red indicator light flashes to signal it should be replaced.
- Equipped with proven SafeLock protection feature: if critical components are damaged and protection is lost, power to the outlet is disconnected.
- Open neutral relay automatically cuts power to device line conductor if the neutral wire preceding the portable GFCI becomes damaged.
- Requires portable GFCI to be manually set for use by pressing reset button upon plug in and after loss of primary power.
