Description
TeSys U advanced power base, 3 poles (3NO), 12A/690V, to be completed with a control unit LUC to form a TeSys U starter controller, for 3-phase motor applications up to 5.5kW@400V. Base composed of power contacts, control coil, rotary handle, with a modular design for additional modules to form a "all in one" starter controller with basic or advanced protection and control functions. It is equipped with auxiliary signaling contacts (1NO+1NC), a control terminal block, and blanking shutters covering the empty cavities. It provides a high breaking capacity Icu 50kA@400V, start-stop control guaranteed for 3600 cycles/hour. Very compact (45mm width), DIN-rail mounting and screw fixing, with a padlockable rotary handle. Certified when used in conjunction with a LUC control unit (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

- This 3-pole non-reversing power base forms the foundation of an all-in-one TeSys Ultra combination starter, managing standard single or 3-phase direct-on-line (DOL) motor control applications up to 12 A at voltages up to 440 V AC. It eliminates the traditional need for separate contactor and overload layouts, allowing you to run 5.5 kW motors efficiently while optimizing space inside crowded industrial enclosures.
- Featuring an ultra-compact 45 mm frame width, the base snaps securely onto standard DIN rails or backplates to minimize layout real estate. This slim, space-saving profile combines motor control, isolation, and power circuit switching into a unified footprint, slashing control panel assembly time and overall cabinet cost.
- The advanced power poles are engineered for high-endurance performance, guaranteeing up to 3600 switching operations per hour under demanding AC-43 utilization categories. This heavy-duty cycle capacity prevents contact degradation and overheating, making it highly reliable for repetitive start-stop sequences in conveyor grids or automated pumping stations.
- Equipped natively with integrated auxiliary signaling contacts composed of 1 NO + 1 NC linked mirror configurations.
- The base provides an impressive service breaking capacity of 50 kA at 440 V lines, ensuring complete circuit coordination and self-protected branch circuit performance.
