    Description

    TeSys Deca contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 80A/1000V AC-3/AC-3e (37kW@400V). It provides a 120V 50/60Hz AC coil, 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), power connection by screw terminals, control connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (85mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. Multi-standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHs/Reach).

    Features

    • The Schneider LC1D80G7 is a 3-pole (3NO) magnetic contactor from the TeSys Deca (formerly TeSys D) range. It is a heavy-duty industrial switch used to control motors, heating loads, and power distribution systems. It acts as the "muscle" of a control circuit, allowing a low-power signal to switch a high-power electrical load.
    • This contactor is rated for 80 Amps (AC-3) for motor applications and up to 125 Amps (AC-1) for non-inductive resistive loads (like heaters). In a typical 480V/600V industrial environment, it is capable of starting and controlling motors up to 60 HP (at 600V), making it ideal for heavy machinery, large pumps, and industrial compressors.
    • The "G7" code indicates that the internal electromagnetic coil is rated for 120V AC at 50/60 Hz. This is the standard control voltage for most North American industrial panels, allowing the contactor to be triggered directly by most PLCs (via a relay), push buttons, or limit switches without the need for an additional control transformer.
    • The LC1D80G7 comes standard with 1 NO (Normally Open) and 1 NC (Normally Closed) integrated auxiliary contacts. These are essential for control logic, allowing you to provide "run" status feedback to a PLC, wire a "seal-in" circuit for a start button, or control an external "tripped" or "stopped" indicator light.
    • This model features Schneider’s patented EverLink terminal blocks. These specialized screw terminals use a spring-loaded "creep compensation" mechanism that maintains constant pressure on the wire, even as the copper cold-flows or vibrates over time. This significantly reduces the risk of hot spots and loose connections—the #1 cause of contactor failure.
