Description
This safety relay is designed for monitoring Emergency stop and Guard switch. The safety relay is powered with 48-240V AC/DC, and equipped with a screw removable terminal block. This basic safety modules embeds pre-defined safety functions. This safety relay embeds 1 control output, 4 NO safety outputs, and 2 NC diagnostic outputs. The maximum safety level achieved by this safety relay is PLe/Category 4 conforming to ISO 13849-1, SILCL 3 conforming to IEC 62061, SIL 3 conforming to IEC 61508. This safety relay weighs 0,200kg. Its dimensions are 22,5mm (Width) x 120mm (Depth) x 100mm (Height). This safety relays is suitable for applications such as Food and Beverage, Hoisting, Material Handling, Material Working, Packaging. This safe relay conforms to IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 61508-1, IEC 61508-2/-3, ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061 functional safety standards, is certified by cULus, TÜV. Harmony safety relays are compatible with Modicon logic controllers. This relay is mounted on a 35mm symmetrical DIN rail. Harmony XPS Basic and Universal safety relays are the first choice for managing single safety functions easily, typically in machines of simple to medium complexity. Harmony XPS Basic offers the most optimised solution for applications with hardwired safety modules.

- Part of the advanced Harmony Safety Automation range, this hardwired safety relay is purpose-built for monitoring emergency stop pushbuttons with 2 NC contacts as well as protective guard switches using up to 2 limit switches. This allows you to rapidly implement dedicated risk-reduction functions across simple to medium-complexity machinery like packaging lines, material handling systems, and food processing conveyors.
- The module meets the highest global functional safety criteria, achieving up to Performance Level e (PL e)/Category 4 conforming to ISO 13849-1, SILCL 3 per IEC 62061, and SIL 3 per IEC 61508 for its normally open contacts. Integrating this unit into your control panel ensures full compliance with local Canadian safety regulations and offers peace of mind by preventing accidental machine startups during an active fault.
- Featuring a highly versatile, wide-range internal power circuit, this controller operates seamlessly on any supply voltage from 48 V to 240 V AC or DC. This wide input capability eliminates the hassle of ordering voltage-specific parts or installing extra step-down control transformers, significantly reducing your inventory management costs.
- The internal architecture embeds 1 dedicated control output alongside a heavy-duty contact layout consisting of 4 Normally Open (NO) safety outputs and up to 2 Normally Closed (NC) diagnostic outputs. The safety poles carry a robust operational rating of 5 A for AC-1 resistive loads, letting you reliably drop power to multiple upstream contactors and safety circuits simultaneously.
- Housed in an ultra-slim 22.5 mm wide enclosure, the module maximizes free real estate inside crowded electrical control cabinets. It is designed to snap natively onto a standard 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail and features removable, two-row screw clamp terminal blocks at both the top and bottom sides, drastically simplifying initial wire routing and reducing downtime during routine field replacements.
- Equipped with a clear front-facing LED array, the module provides immediate local signaling for power, error detection, safety state status, and start-input channels. Additionally, it integrates a smart auxiliary diagnostic output that communicates comprehensive status information directly back to your Modicon or third-party logic controllers, preventing long troubleshooting windows when diagnosing factory-floor fault codes.
