Description

Amp-Trap 2000 time-delay ATDR small-dimension fuses provide IEC Type 2 "no damage" protection to your facility's increasingly sensitive branch circuit components and small motors - minimizing the risk of fault-related damage. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time-delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.

Features

  • The Mersen ATDR1/2 (also written as ATDR0.5) is a 0.5-Amp (1/2 Amp), 600V AC Class CC time-delay fuse. It is a specialized, high-performance fuse designed to protect small control transformers, solenoids, and inductive loads that experience high "inrush" currents but require very low steady-state amperage.
  • This fuse features the rejection-style "button" tip unique to Class CC. This physical design ensures it only fits into Class CC-rated fuse blocks. This is a critical safety feature that prevents a user from accidentally replacing it with a "Midget" fuse that may have a significantly lower interrupting rating.
  • Despite being rated for only half an amp, the ATDR1/2 has a massive 200,000 Amp (200kA) interrupting capacity at 600V AC. It is an extremely current-limiting fuse, meaning it stops a short circuit so fast that the "let-thru" energy is minimized, protecting sensitive control components from catastrophic damage.
  • Like all Class CC fuses, it measures standardly at 13/32" x 1-1/2" (10mm x 38mm). Its fiberglass body provides excellent dimensional stability and heat resistance, ensuring the fuse won't become brittle or fail due to the constant thermal cycling found in industrial control cabinets.
