Description
Amp-Trap 2000 time-delay ATDR small-dimension fuses provide IEC Type 2 "no damage" protection to your facility's increasingly sensitive branch circuit components and small motors - minimizing the risk of fault-related damage. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time-delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.
Features
- Featuring a standardized Class CC rejection tip, this 1-1/2 in times 13/32 in (38 times 10 mm) fuse physically blocks the insertion of lower-rated or standard midget fuses into Class CC fuse blocks or disconnects. This mechanical safeguard prevents downstream wiring and components from being subjected to fault energies beyond their capacity, ensuring strict compliance with NEC® Article 240 and 430 requirements.
- The Amp-Trap 2000® design delivers precise current limitation under fault conditions, reducing both the magnetic and thermal stresses placed on system components. By cutting off destructive short-circuit currents within milliseconds, it prevents insulation breakdown in small control transformers and contactors, drastically reducing facility maintenance overhead and emergency downtime.
- Constructed with a high-durability fiberglass body and premium plated copper alloy end caps, this fuse resists tracking and physical degradation in high-temperature control cabinets. The robust physical architecture prevents dimensional shifting under severe thermal cycles, guaranteeing low-resistance contact seating and maintaining consistent, predictable overcurrent protection.
