Features
- The Mersen ATQR10 is a 10-Amp Class CC time-delay fuse specifically engineered for the high-inrush currents associated with control transformers, solenoids, and small motor loads. It provides a minimum 12-second time delay at 200% of its rating, allowing your equipment to start up smoothly without the "nuisance tripping" that often plagues non-time-delay fuses.
- As a Class CC fuse, the ATQR10 is highly current-limiting. In the event of a short circuit, it reacts in less than half a cycle to clear the fault. By drastically reducing the "let-through" energy (I^2t), it shields delicate downstream components from the mechanical and thermal stresses of a massive electrical surge, ensuring your control panels remain safe.
- Despite its compact size, this fuse boasts a massive 200,000 Amp (200kA) AC interrupting rating. This allows it to safely extinguish extreme electrical arcs in high-capacity Canadian industrial facilities, providing a robust layer of protection that exceeds standard safety requirements for branch circuits.
- The ATQR series features a unique physical rejection tip on the end cap. When used with a Class CC fuse holder, this design prevents the accidental insertion of non-current-limiting "Midget" fuses. This "fool-proof" safety feature ensures that your system always maintains its engineered level of short-circuit protection and CEC (Canadian Electrical Code) compliance.
