Description
Amp-Trap 2000 time-delay ATDR small-dimension fuses provide IEC Type 2 "no damage" protection to your facility's increasingly sensitive branch circuit components and small motors - minimizing the risk of fault-related damage. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time-delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.
Features
- The ATDR10 is a 10-Amp, 600V AC/300V DC Class CC time-delay fuse from Mersen’s Amp-Trap 2000® series. It features a specialized "rejection" tip that prevents the accidental installation of lower-rated or non-rejection fuses into critical control circuits, ensuring your equipment stays protected by the exact parameters required for safety.
- Specifically engineered for "small motor" and control transformer protection, the ATDR10 offers superior time-delay characteristics. It is designed to ride through the momentary high "inrush" currents experienced during motor startups without nuisance tripping, while still providing ultra-fast protection during actual fault condition
- This fuse is highly current-limiting, capable of interrupting a massive electrical fault in less than 0.008 seconds (half a cycle). With a massive 200,000 Amp RMS interrupting rating, it drastically reduces the "let-through" energy (I^2t) during a short circuit, protecting sensitive downstream components and reducing arc flash hazards.
- Constructed with a premium fiberglass body and silver-plated copper contact caps, the ATDR10 provides excellent dimensional stability and electrical conductivity. This high-grade construction ensures the fuse won't become brittle or lose its precise calibration even when housed in compact, high-temperature industrial control panels or HVAC systems.
- The Mersen ATDR10 is UL Listed to Standard 248-4 (Class CC) and CSA Certified to Standard C22.2. Its high interrupting capacity and reliable time-delay performance make it the preferred choice for meeting NEC® and CEC® requirements for branch circuit protection in industrial machinery, automation cabinets, and commercial power distribution.
