- Rated for a continuous 200 Amps at 600V AC or DC, this 3-pole, single-throw VisiPacT safety switch provides severe-duty isolation. For industrial facility manager setups, it delivers massive motor-handling capacity up to 50 HP at 480V/600V standard, or up to 125 HP (at 480V) and 150 HP (at 600V) under maximum-tier inductive running parameters, safeguarding large motor control networks effortlessly.
- Housed in a premium, high-grade 304 stainless steel enclosure, this unit carries an official NEMA Type 4x safety perimeter rating.
- Built as a highly versatile fusible disconnect, this safety switch carries a base short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 10 kA when using standard Class H, J, R or K fuses. However, by adding factory fuse rejection clips, the assembly is field-upgradable to handle a massive 200 kA fault capacity when paired alongside high-performance Class R or Class J fuses, preventing catastrophic mechanical enclosure failures.
- The interior features heavy-duty mechanical connection lugs that anchor copper or aluminum conductors ranging from AWG 6 up to 250 kcmil. To maintain a code-compliant, gas-tight electrical contact that withstands natural conductor thermal cycles, all lug connection screws must be tightened to the exact factory specification of 275 lbf-in (31.07 N-m).
