- This is a 3-pole, 3-wire, 30-Amp heavy-duty fused safety switch rated for up to 600V AC/DC. It is designed for demanding industrial and commercial applications, capable of handling motor loads from 5 hp up to 20 hp (depending on voltage) and featuring a short-circuit current rating of up to 200 kA when used with appropriate Class R or J fuses.
- This specific model features a NEMA 1 rated steel enclosure, which is strictly intended for indoor use in environments where dust and moisture are minimal. For outdoor or washdown applications, you would typically look for the "RB" (NEMA 3R) or "SS" (NEMA 4X Stainless) versions of this switch.
