This provides superior protection for sensitive components like high-capacity VFDs, large contactors, and soft starters, often helping your entire control panel achieve a higher Short-Circuit Current Rating (SCCR).
- Featuring advanced dual-element, time-delay technology, this 100-Amp fuse is engineered to withstand the massive momentary current surges associated with large motor starts and transformer inrush. It provides a minimum 10-second delay at 500% of its rated current, ensuring your heavy machinery powers up reliably without "nuisance blowing," while still offering high-speed protection against sustained overloads.
- The LPJ-100SP is fully rated for 600V AC (and 300V DC), making it a staple for the high-voltage grids found in Canadian manufacturing, mining, and water treatment facilities. With a massive 300,000 Amp Interrupting Rating (AIR), it is capable of safely quenching the most severe electrical faults, ensuring your power distribution system remains secure and fully code-compliant.
- The Class J footprint is significantly smaller than equivalent Class R fuses of the same amperage.
