Description

This I/O expansion module is part of the Modicon M171/M172/M173 range, a control offer for HVAC/Pumping applications. This additional I/O module offers 2 digital inputs, 4 analog inputs, and 6 digital outputs. It is connected via the CAN expansion bus of the M172 and M173 logic controllers. It increases the number of I/O up to 78 on M173 logic controllers, and up to 238 on M172 logic controllers. DIs are high-speed counters. The AIs are NTC, PT1000, PTC, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, hOhm, daOhm, and DIs. DOs are SPST 3A with the same common. It measures 72mm wide, 59mm deep, 110mm high, and weighs 0.140kg. It allows the expansion of the number of IOs on the HVAC controllers. It is certified by CE, RCM, EAC, CSA and CURus. It is compatible with M173 Optimized and M172 logic controllers. It is sold in a 1-piece package. It mounts on 35mm DIN rail. Modicon M171/M172/M173 controllers are designed for complete automation solutions for HVAC and Pumping machines. Modicon M171/M172/M173 range is for OEMs and helps to maximize profitability or energy efficiency in HVAC applications.
