Description
The Next Generation Power Distribution Block (PDB). Mersen power distribution blocks provide a safe and easy method of splicing cables, splitting primary power into secondary circuits and fulfilling requirements for fixed junction tap-off points. All blocks are UL and CSA approved while meeting spacing requirements for feeder and branch circuits in conjunction with UL508A and the National Electrical Code®. PDB options include single or dual conductor primary inputs and up to 30 secondary outputs. Specialty blocks are available allowing for up to 7 primary inputs. The MPDB series is offered in three size categories: miniature (MPDB62 and MPDB63 series), intermediate (MPDB66 and MPDB67 series), and large (MPDB68 and MPDB69 series), in both aluminum and copper.

Ensuring a precise mechanical match over the block chassis avoids gaps, preventing exposed live metal and ensuring a uniform fit across multi-pole terminal layouts.
- This polycarbonate safety shield provides robust dead-front protection, effectively preventing accidental knuckle or finger contact with energized components. Adding this cover allows your open-style distribution blocks to achieve touch-safe performance, helping your industrial control panels maintain compliance with strict UL508A and National Electrical Code (NEC) safety standards.
- Featuring a smart, snap-on hinged architecture, this cover attaches firmly to the distribution block base without requiring extra screws or assembly tools. The smooth-pivoting hinge allows field technicians to quickly swing the clear shield open for wire routing adjustments and snap it shut for instant re-protection.
- Designed with a built-in test probe port directly in the center of the face, this cover permits swift multi-meter diagnosis while remaining fully installed.
