Description
This Harmony XB4, Emergency stop 40mm mushroom red button head operates with a latched key-to-release (key no.455) mechanism. This emergency stop / shutdown button head, is easily combined with contact blocks and installed into standard 22mm diameter cut-outs and connected with simple screw-clamp connections. It is clearly distinguishable visually at a distance thanks to a clear color and a prominent 40mm mushroom shape. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66 / IP67 / IP69 / IP69K. It has a metal bezel, this makes it Ideal for applications requiring high impact and vibration resistance. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Secure machine and system operation with a key, only available to authorized operators. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- This emergency stop features a secure key-release reset mechanism (using industry-standard Key No. 455) that prevents unauthorized or premature machine restarts. Once pressed, the button mechanically latches in the open position, ensuring the circuit remains safely interrupted until an authorized technician inserts the key to reset the operator, fulfilling strict plant safety protocols.
- Designed for rapid installation, this modular head fits perfectly into any standard 22mm panel cutout, making it fully compatible with existing Harmony XB4 series mounting collars and contact blocks. It easily pairs with single or double front-mounted contact blocks (such as the ZBE101 or ZBE102), allowing maintenance teams to upgrade or replace damaged E-stops without modifying existing enclosure layouts.
- Engineered with heavy-duty chromium-plated metal bezels, this operator carries elite IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings, alongside NEMA 4X and NEMA 13 protection. It resists high-pressure washdowns up to 7,000,000 Pa at 55 C and operates flawlessly in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 C to 70 C, ensuring total reliability against dust, water ingress, and corrosive industrial chemicals.
- Featuring a prominent, unmarked 40mm red mushroom head, this operator provides high-contrast visibility across the factory floor for immediate, instinctual activation. The trigger-action mechanism guarantees that the contacts change state the exact moment the button is latched, eliminating the risk of half-pushing or "teasing" the switch during critical shutdown situations.
