- The Schneider Square D VHU361GL is a 30-Amp, 3-pole, 600V AC non-fusible safety switch from the high-performance Visi-Pac line. - As a non-fusible disconnect, this unit is designed to provide a local physical break in the circuit rather than overcurrent protection (which is handled by the upstream breaker or fuses). This makes it a more compact and cost-effective solution for Canadian industrial sites where circuit protection is already centralized in a main distribution panel.
- The VHU361GL is housed in a NEMA Type 1 (Indoor) enclosure, finished with the classic Square D gray polyester powder coat. It is specifically designed for indoor commercial and industrial environments where protection against dust and accidental contact is required, but exposure to moisture or rain is not a factor.
- This switch features visible blades, allowing safety inspectors and maintenance personnel to verify at a glance that the circuit is physically open. The high-contrast red handle is designed for ergonomic operation and is padlockable in the "OFF" position, meeting the strict lockout-tagout (LOTO) requirements of CSA Z462.
