Description
This Harmony XB5, long handle modular black selector switch has 2 positions, operates with a stay-put mechanism and uses screw clamp terminals. This selector switch provides a versatile interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed into standard 22mm diameter cut-outs and connected to your control circuits with simple screw-clamp connections. It provides an comfortable manner to set your machine in various operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP69, making it ideal for operation in harsh environments. Its plastic bezel makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation.

As a complete product from the legendary Harmony XB5 modular range, it simplifies your inventory and layout planning by bundling the operator head, mounting collar, and contact block into a single, ready-to-mount unit.
- This high-performance selector switch features a 2-position, 90-degree "stay-put" (maintained) mechanism that securely locks into your chosen On/Off position until manually turned. This eliminates the risk of accidental resets or contact bounce in heavy machinery applications, ensuring a reliable manual interface for selecting operating modes or isolating control circuits.
- Engineered with a high-impact plastic bezel, this switch delivers superior resistance to aggressive chemical agents and corrosive oils compared to metal alternatives, while achieving elite IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings. This means your control infrastructure remains fully dust-tight and completely waterproof even when subjected to intense 1015-psi high-pressure cleaning and hot washdowns up to 131°F (55°C).
- Out of the box, the unit comes equipped with a highly reliable 1 NO (Normally Open) slow-break silver alloy contact block rated for up to 600V AC/DC and heavy-duty A600/Q600 industrial loads. It features an incredibly high electrical reliability rating with failure rates lower than one in a hundred million cycles at low power, preventing expensive, unexpected machine downtime in precision automation environments.
