Description
Square D™ QO™ and QOB Miniature Circuit Breakers, QOB250, come in bolt-on mounted version and in a complete range of amperages and interrupting ranges to fit into various QO distribution panels. UL listed CSA certified They also have VisiTrip trip indication, which provides a visual indication that the circuit breaker has tripped and interrupted the circuit. This 2 pole QO circuit breaker is rated at 50A at 120/240VAC. This unit provides 10kA breaking capacity and bolt on mounting. A full line of features and factory installed accessories are also available such as shunt trips, auxiliary switches and alarm switches. QO circuit breakers are UL Listed under UL File E84967 and are CSA Certified under CSA Master Contract 153555.
Features
- Designed specifically for Square D NQ and NQOD panelboards, the QOB250 features a secure bolt-on connection to the bus bar. This mechanical attachment provides a more robust and vibration-resistant installation than standard plug-on breakers, making it the preferred choice for commercial and industrial environments where electrical continuity is critical.
- This breaker includes the exclusive red Visi-Trip™ indicator window, which instantly flags a tripped state amidst a row of other breakers. This feature saves maintenance personnel valuable time during troubleshooting, allowing for faster reset cycles and significantly reducing downtime in busy commercial facilities.
- Providing reliable 50-amp, 2-pole thermal-magnetic protection, this unit is engineered to handle common 120/240V AC loads like HVAC units, water heaters, and industrial motors. Its calibrated "Quick-Make, Quick-Break" mechanism minimizes internal arcing, extending the life of the breaker and ensuring precise protection against both overloads and short circuits.
- Equipped with high-quality box lugs and pressure plate terminals, the QOB250 accommodates #8–#2 AWG aluminum or copper wiring. This design ensures a consistent, high-pressure contact that prevents loose connections and overheating—a common failure point in high-amperage industrial circuits.
