Description

TeSys D contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 25A/690V AC-3/3e (11kW@400V). It provides a 24V DC coil with transient suppressor module, 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

  • The Schneider Electric TeSys LC1D25BD is a rugged 3-pole, 25-Amp IEC contactor engineered for mid-range motor control. In typical Canadian 600V industrial power systems, it is rated to handle motors up to 20 HP at 600V or 15 HP at 480V, making it a versatile choice for driving compressors, heavy-duty pumps, and industrial conveyors.
  • This model is equipped with a 24V DC coil. The "BD" designation indicates a low-consumption coil that includes a built-in bidirectional peak-limiting diode suppressor. This integrated protection prevents inductive voltage spikes from damaging sensitive PLC outputs, allowing for direct control from automation controllers without the need for additional surge protection.
  • The low-consumption DC coil draws significantly less power than standard AC coils, allowing many PLC transistor outputs to drive the contactor directly. This eliminates the cost and space required for interposing relays, reduces heat dissipation within your enclosure, and simplifies the overall wiring of your control system.
  • The LC1D25BD comes standard with 1NO (Normally Open) and 1NC (Normally Closed) auxiliary contacts built into the base unit. This enables you to provide a "running" signal to your HMI and a "safety interlock" or "fault" signal to your control logic simultaneously, without needing to purchase or install additional add-on contact blocks.
