- The LC1D32BD is a heavy-duty, 3-pole TeSys Deca contactor rated for motors up to 32 Amps (approximately 20 HP at 480V). It acts as a rugged electrical switch for AC-3 applications, providing the robust mechanical endurance required for frequently starting and stopping high-torque industrial motors, compressors, and ventilation systems.
- The "BD" designation indicates a 24V DC Low Consumption coil. This specialized coil allows the contactor to be driven directly by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or sensitive electronic controller without an interposing relay. It features an integrated bidirectional peak-limiting diode to suppress voltage transients, shielding your control system from electromagnetic interference.
- This contactor is factory-equipped with 1 NO (Normally Open) and 1 NC (Normally Closed) instantaneous auxiliary contacts. These integrated contacts eliminate the need for add-on blocks in standard applications, allowing you to easily wire "seal-in" circuits or provide real-time status feedback to your HMI or monitoring system.
