Description

TeSys D contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 18A/690V AC-3/3e (7.5kW@400V). It provides a 120V 50/60Hz AC coil, 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Features

  • The LC1D18G7 is a 3-pole (3 NO) TeSys Deca (formerly TeSys D) IEC contactor designed for motor control and resistive load switching. It is an industry-standard choice for starting and stopping three-phase motors up to 10 HP at 460V, providing a reliable, high-cycle switching solution for industrial automation, HVAC systems, and machinery.
  • The G7 suffix specifically designates a 120V AC (50/60 Hz) control coil. This is the most common control voltage for industrial control panels in North America. The coil is field-replaceable (replacement part LXD1G7) without removing the contactor from the DIN rail, allowing for easy maintenance or voltage changes if needed.
  • This contactor is rated for 18A in the AC-3 category (inductive motor loads) and up to 32A in the AC-1 category (non-inductive resistive loads, like heaters). In 3-phase applications, it supports: 5 HP at 230V , 10 HP at 460V , 15 HP at 600V
  • To simplify wiring and reduce the need for add-on blocks, the LC1D18G7 comes standard with 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed) built-in auxiliary contacts. These are commonly used for "seal-in" circuits, status indication light, or interlocking with other control devices in a motor starter assembly.
  • Designed for high-density panels, the unit features a compact 45mm width and mounts easily on standard 35mm DIN rail or can be screw-mounted to a backplate. It is fully compatible with Schneider's LRD series thermal overload relays for motor protection and can be expanded with additional front-mount (LADN) or side-mount (LAD8N) auxiliary contact blocks.
