Description
TeSys Deca control relay, 5 contacts (3NO + 2NC), 10A/690V, for control of electromagnetic loads AC-15/DC-13. It provides a 24V DC control circuit with no inrush consumption and equipped with a surge suppression device, connection by screw clamp terminals. For high operating rates until 180 cycles/min and ambient temperature -40/+60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), for clipping on 35mm DIN rail or fixing by screw. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine).
Features
- The Schneider Electric TeSys Deca CAD32BD features a fixed 5-pole layout containing 3 NO (Normally Open) and 2 NC (Normally Closed) contacts. This specific configuration delivers dedicated, simultaneous signaling loops, allowing automation engineers to seamlessly handle cross-interlocking and run-status logic within a single, space-saving footprint.
- Engineered for modern, noise-sensitive automation environments, this control relay operates via a standard 24V DC control circuit. The low-consumption DC coil pulls a consistent 5.4W during both inrush and sealed states, preventing voltage sags across your 24V bus and eliminating the inductive electrical noise commonly generated by AC coils.
- Built to handle rigorous control demands, the relay is rated for a conventional free air thermal current of 10A at temperatures up to 60 C and supports operational voltages up to 690V AC. It conforms to demanding AC-15 and DC-13 utilization categories, providing an instantaneous making capacity of up to 140A AC or 250A DC to safely switch heavy industrial solenoid coils, pilot lights, and contactor coils without premature contact welding.
- With a compact, space-efficient width of just 45mm, the CAD32BD optimizes critical panel space. It offers dual-mounting flexibility, snapping securely onto a standard 35mm DIN rail or mounting directly to a backplate via screws, letting you quickly swap units or scale out complex multi-relay control arrays.
- Equipped with robust screw clamp terminals, this device provides gas-tight connections that accommodate flexible or solid conductors ranging from 1 to 4 mm2. Designed to prevent wire pull-outs in high-vibration machinery settings, the terminals handle a high specified tightening torque of 1.7 N m using standard Phillips or flathead screwdrivers for an efficient, repeatable installation process.
- This industrial-grade control relay holds comprehensive multi-standard certifications, including UL, CSA, CE, UKCA, CCC, and Marine approvals. Its front face features an IP2X finger-safe rating conforming to VDE 0106 standards, ensuring immediate compliance with strict regional electrical inspections and providing essential arc and shock protection for maintenance personnel.
