Description
TeSys D control relay, 5 contacts (3NO + 2NC), 10A/690V, for control of electromagnetic loads AC-15/DC-13. It provides a 480V 50/60Hz AC control circuit, connection by screw clamp terminals. For high operating rates until 180 cycles/min and ambient temperature -40/+60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), for clipping on 35mm DIN rail or fixing by screw. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium product (RoHS/REACh).
Features
- Outfitted with five distinct poles—three Normally Open and two Normally Closed—this industrial relay enables automation engineers to design highly dependable mechanical interlocks and simultaneous feedback loops. This specific arrangement permits the safe sequencing of heavy contactors while simultaneously feeding distinct status signals back to a central PLC or SCADA network.
- Engineered with a robust 480V AC coil operating at 50/60 Hz, this TeSys Deca control relay integrates smoothly into standard North American motor control centers without requiring step-down auxiliary transformers. The coil is optimized to handle normal voltage fluctuations, preventing contact chatter and reducing the risk of control circuit dropouts during high-inrush motor starts.
- Designed with mechanically linked contacts that comply strictly with IEC 60947-5-1 Annex L, this relay ensures that Normally Open and Normally Closed contacts can never be closed simultaneously. This fail-safe architecture provides reliable anti-coincidence performance, protecting automated assembly lines, material handling systems, and personnel from catastrophic logic overlapping faults.
- This highly compact, 45mm-wide control relay can be snapped directly onto standard 35mm DIN rails or screwed securely onto a backplate via integrated mounting holes.
