Description

TeSys GV motor circuit breaker, 3 poles (3P), 0.63A/690V, for 3-phase motor applications 0.12-0.18kW@400V. It provides a thermal-magnetic protection with a thermal setting range 0.4-0.63A, magnetic tripping at 13xIn, high breaking capacity Icu 100kA@400V. Connection by screw clamp terminals. Start-stop control by push-button guaranteed for 100 000 cycles AC-3. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Operating up to 690 V AC, it handles small 0.12 kW to 0.18 kW motor loads at 400/415 V, giving you a unified solution that combines manual motor control, overload protection, and short-circuit isolation in a single unit.
  • The unit features a front-facing adjustable thermal dial with a setting range of 0.4 A to 0.63 A. This dial allows installation technicians to precisely calibrate the thermal protection according to the motor's exact Full Load Amps (FLA), eliminating premature tripping while safeguarding the motor windings from chronic overheating.
  • Built with an exceptional ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 400/415 V networks, this motor protection circuit breaker (MPCB) handles massive electrical faults instantly. The integrated magnetic release executes an instantaneous trip at 13 times the maximum rated current, containing catastrophic arc energy and protecting upstream branch components from thermal degradation.
  • Designed with integrated phase failure and phase unbalance sensitivity conforming to IEC 60947-4-1 standards, the device constantly monitors all three active lines. If a single phase drops or experiences a severe current drop, the internal mechanism trips prematurely, preventing your motor from running single-phase and sustaining severe mechanical distortion or burning out.
  • The unit is equipped with mechanical start-stop pushbuttons designed for high-frequency manual cycling. Both the internal mechanics and contact elements are guaranteed for up to 100,000 electrical and mechanical operating cycles under AC-3 utilization loads, ensuring decades of wear-free operation in demanding HVAC panels, pumping arrays, and conveyor control systems.
  • Boasting a highly optimized, standardized 45 mm frame width, the breaker clips directly onto a standard 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail or can be panel-mounted via an adapter plate. Its ultra-compact footprint replaces separate, bulky overload relays and standalone disconnect switches, optimizing wire duct layouts inside crowded industrial automation enclosures.
  • The hardware uses heavy-duty, finger-safe screw clamp terminals designed with an IP20 protection rating to shield technicians from accidental contact with live lines. These terminals accommodate solid or flexible wire sizes ranging from 1 mm² to 6 mm² and maintain a high 1.7 N.m tightening torque, which completely prevents wire backing or localized arcing caused by adjacent heavy machinery vibrations.
