Description
The GV2 manual starter and protector provides manual isolation, manual motor control, and thermal overcurrent protection in one compact unit. The basic motor starter GV2ME controls motors with full load currents up to 32 A. The manual starter is three pole with horsepower ratings. The manual starter is operated by push buttons. The Class 10 ambient compensated thermal over current is adjustable from 17 ampere to 23 ampere. This device has screw clamp terminals. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX).
Features
- Featuring a precision thermal adjustment dial from 17 to 23 Amps, this manual starter allows you to fine-tune protection to your motor s exact Nameplate Full Load Amps (FLA). This granular control prevents motor burnout from subtle overloads while avoiding the productivity loss associated with nuisance tripping during standard operation.
- Integrated with a high-speed magnetic tripping element set at 327 Amps, this circuit breaker provides instantaneous protection against catastrophic short circuits. By clearing high-magnitude faults in milliseconds, it safeguards your internal wiring and expensive industrial machinery from severe thermal damage, ensuring a safer work environment and faster system recovery.
- The intuitive, ergonomic "Start-Stop" push-button interface provides clear local control and a positive-break indication for machine operators. This tactile manual override simplifies routine maintenance and troubleshooting, allowing technicians to quickly de-energize the motor circuit without opening the main electrical enclosure.
- Designed with a standardized 45mm width for seamless DIN-rail or screw mounting, the GV2ME21 maximizes space efficiency in high-density multi-motor starters. Its modular architecture is fully compatible with TeSys D contactors and auxiliary blocks, reducing assembly time and making it the ideal choice for compact industrial pumping, ventilation, and conveyor applications.
