    Description

    TeSys Deca instantaneous auxiliary contact block, for LC.D contactors and CAD control relays with AC coils only. It provides 1NO+1NC contacts (NC mirror certified) rated up to 10A 690V AC, connection by screw clamp terminals. Clip-on side mounting, it procures high reliability and durability. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

    Features

    • The LAD8N11 is an auxiliary contact block designed to snap onto the side of a Schneider Electric TeSys Deca (formerly TeSys D) contactor. It provides additional electrical contacts that mimic or oppose the state of the main contactor, allowing for complex control logic, signaling, or interlocking without needing a separate relay.
    • This block features two instantaneous contacts: 1 NO (Normally Open): Closes when the contactor is energized. Commonly used for "holding" circuits (latching) or turning on "Running" indicator lights. 1 NC (Normally Closed): Opens when the contactor is energized. Typically used for electrical interlocking (preventing two contactors from closing at once) or "Stopped" status signals.
    • The LAD8N11 is designed for snap-on mounting. It clips onto the right or left side of the contactor body. It features a mechanical linkage that connects directly to the contactor's moving internal carrier, ensuring that the auxiliary contacts move in perfect synchronization with the main power poles.
    • While the LADN series mounts to the front of the contactor (increasing the depth of the unit), the LAD8N series mounts to the side (increasing the width). This is ideal for shallow control panels where there isn't enough clearance between the contactor and the enclosure door to add front-mounted accessories.
    • It is compatible with the entire TeSys Deca (LC1D) range, specifically: 3-pole contactors from LC1D09 up to LC1D150. 4-pole contactors (LC1DT series). It can be used on either the left or the right side, but usually, only one side-mount block is used per contactor.
