Description
TeSys GV motor circuit breaker, 3 poles (3P), 18A/690V, for 3-phase motor applications 7.5kW@400V. It provides a thermal-magnetic protection with a thermal setting range 12-18A, magnetic tripping at 14xIn, high breaking capacity Icu 100kA@400V. Connection by Everlink BTR screw terminals. Start-stop control by rotary knob guaranteed for 50 000 cycles AC-3. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).
Features
- The TeSys Deca GV3P18 relies on an adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit with a current range of 12A to 18A to handle variable inductive motor loads seamlessly. The thermal mechanism defends your equipment against sustained overcurrent and overheating, while the fixed magnetic setting triggers an immediate instantaneous short-circuit trip at 252A. This dual protection safely isolates electrical faults before costly damage or unexpected downtime impacts your production line.
- Designed for heavy-duty commercial and industrial control panels, this manual motor starter boasts an exceptional ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) of 100 kA at 400/415V AC. It ensures 100% service breaking capacity (Ics), meaning the breaker can repeatedly interrupt extreme electrical faults without compromising its structural integrity. This high-interrupt rating eliminates the need for upstream current-limiting fuses, drastically saving enclosure space and reducing overall system complexity.
- This advanced motor circuit breaker features built-in phase failure and phase unbalance sensitivity conforming to IEC 60947-4-1 standards. If a single phase drops or an unbalanced voltage load occurs, the internal mechanism quickly trips the breaker to prevent rapid winding overheating and catastrophic motor burnout.
