Description
The GV3 manual starter and protector provides manual isolation, manual motor control, and thermal overcurrent protection in one compact unit. The basic motor starter GV3PE controls motors with full load currents up to 65 amperes. The manual starter is three pole with horsepower ratings. The manual starter is operated by a rotary handle. The Class 10 ambient compensated thermal over current is adjustable from 30 ampere to 40 ampere. This device has EVERLINK terminals. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX).

- Engineered as a 3-pole thermal-magnetic motor circuit breaker, this device provides a comprehensive solution for motor control by combining short-circuit protection and thermal overload defense in a single compact unit. By eliminating the need for separate fuses and overloads, you streamline your control panel layout while ensuring your high-torque motors are shielded from catastrophic phase failure and electrical burnout.
- Featuring Schneider Electric s patented EverLink technology, the screw-clamp terminals utilize a spring-reinforced system that maintains a constant pressure on the cables, even in high-vibration environments. This revolutionary design prevents wire "creep" and loose connections over time, significantly reducing the risk of overheating at the terminal and eliminating the need for periodic re-torqueing maintenance.
- Equipped with an accessible rotary dial, you can precisely calibrate the thermal protection to your motor's specific Full Load Amps (FLA) within the 30A to 40A range. This granular control allows industrial engineers to fine-tune protection for 18.5kW to 22kW motors at 400/415V, preventing nuisance tripping while maintaining a rigorous safety ceiling for your heavy-duty mechanical loads.
- With a robust 50kA breaking capacity, this circuit breaker is designed to safely interrupt massive fault currents without damaging the surrounding infrastructure.
